Lewis began his career with British Airways learning from world-class brand marketers and advertising agencies tasked with transforming the BA brand into the world’s favourite airline. That foundation shaped a career spanning over 30 years of senior executive brand and marketing leadership across aviation, sport, insurance, media and content production, in Australia, New Zealand, Europe and the Middle East. He headed up marketing for Air New Zealand, Qantas, NRL and Insurance Australia Group Satellite Division before moving into consulting.
At the NRL, as Executive Head of Digital, Content and Marketing, he was part of the team that secured the $1.8 billion five-year content strategy with the successful media partners, including The Rookie, the NRL’s first prime time reality TV series.
As Executive Director at Omnilab Media and GM of The Lab Sydney, Lewis was on the advisory board of this leading Australian content production, post-production and media services group – working on iconic feature films including Baz Luhumann’s Australia and George Miller’s Happy Feet 2, as well as television and TVC post for major brands on advertising and content marketing, and to the media services industry that support this work.
